where has the summer gone?

I sit typing this on such a dreary day, it feels wrong wearing a jacket in july! ah well, after my last ranty post I sdhall get back to what I do best - bitching about celebrities, so apparently Kerry katona's husband - Mark Croft has filed for divorce, wonder what he put in the "reasons for divorce" box on the form, I imagine simply putting "Kerry Katona" would suffice, she really is vile but I have to say she has some tough competition now - Yes Katie Price/Jordan really has surpassed herself recently, it's all very sad, I had a lot of respect for that girl but she has gone way over the line this time, how many interviews is she going to do slagging off the father of her children, what kind of life are those kids going to have reading some of the hideous things she has been saying? I am loving Peter Andres dignity of pretty much staying silent through the whole thing.

Onto gay news, The Archbishop of Canterbury has spoken out about the effect the gays are having on the anglican church - in his statement about the ordination of gay priests he says This has been called a 'two-tier' model, or, more disparagingly, a first- and second-class structure. But perhaps we are faced rather with the possibility of the two-track model, two ways of witnessing to the Anglican heritage. It helps to be clear about these possible futures, however much we think them less than ideal, and to speak about them not in apocalyptic terms of schism and excommunication but plainly as what they are – two styles of being Anglican."
Although he argued that prejudice and violence against LGBT people was "sinful and disgraceful", he added: "The question is not a simple one of human rights or human dignity. It is that a certain choice of lifestyle has certain consequences. If society changes its attitudes, that change does not of itself count as a reason for the Church to change its discipline.
Oh dear mr, you do need to know that being gay is not a lifestyle and its not a choice, would I choose to be straight now if I could - hell no!
Anyways back to me, I had a rather lovely weekend with dinner in Oval with Boo on friday night and then my brother and his lovely new girlfriend came to stay on saturday, we headed to a gorge thai restaurant in Stoke Newington on saturday night called "Yum Yum", my brother is a clever boy and actually designed the restaurant so it was great to see his work and its amazing! then sunday we had a lovely sunday lunch at the Talbot bar near me before I headed off to Soho to meet with Oliver, Kelly and Rach - a lush weekend.
Tony is back to stay with me for the next few days and I also have a 2nd date with a great guy tomorrow night so things are looking up, I am not heading to Brighton Pride this weekend but must try and get there next year, no prides for pippy this year!

Dear Facebook retards,

Hope you are well, Facebook was set up as a social networking site where people could get in touch with people that were not important enough to have a place in their mobile phone.

I now am beginning to realise this more and more day by day, first a message to a few of you who have recently set up an application that involves you opening a zoo, now daily i get updates on what animals you have in said zoo, YOU DONT OWN A ZOO!! THIS IS A POINTLESS EXERCISE, YOU HAVE NOT SAVED AN ANIMAL FROM EXTINCTION! YOU HAVE CLICKED YOUR MOUSE! I DO NOT WANT TO COME AND SEE YOUR RARE ALBINO LEOPARD because lets face it you work in a shit job in sheffield and could not afford one of those shit zoo animal toys that they sell at a knock off toy shop.

Secondly, to my dear friend from school who has 213736 different kids by 483738787 different fathers, i do not need to know that you are a fan of sleeping naked, being kissed on the neck or oral sex. what i do need to know is that you have had your tubes tied and no longer intend on breeding - mainly because next time i go to visit my parents i dont want one of your "delightful" offspring jacking me for my bling.

So please people get a grip, its just a website, you are not an leopard saving zookepper or a seductive temptress, you are a loon and an ex school bike

love and kisses

I put on my shoes and I'm ready for the weekend!!

For those of you that don’t know, that is the catchy lyric to Calvin Harris' new single and it’s a great choon!!! am loving that plus the new sugababes single which sees them back on form and also the new Dizzee Rascal track, I am not abandoning my indie roots but once in a while, I need to shake this fabulous ass that god bestowed upon me.

what a tragic time it is lately, 2 guys helping to construct the stage for a Madonna concert in France, part of the roof of the stage fell in, knocking over a crane, one guy died at the scene and another died later in hospital. Madonna paid tribute to the guys last night at her concert - sad.

Also tragic - Fern Britton has left This Morning!! it was her last day today and I totally missed it, she always made days off sick that little bit interesting with her sexual innuendo and constant innappropriate giggling, she will be missed, especially as she is being replaced by Holly "I shout for no reason" Willoughby, these young whippersnappers!! Jo Whiley has also lost her morning show on Radio 1 to Fearne "basically I am a cunt" Cotton. That’s just wrong! the menthol cool stylings of Jo Whiley always soothe me and now I have to listen to the blisteringly annoying rants of Cotton, also Chris Moyles has just had his contract extended for yet another year - so that’s my relationship with Radio 1 over.

The lovely Tony has been staying with me this week and its been great having him round, even though I have a housemate, we don’t speak that often so its been nice having someone there to shoot the breeze with, he is back again in a couple of weeks and then 10 days later I am heading out to see him and Anna in Turku! cant wait.

This weekend is looking good, tonight I have a date! yes you heard it right, the bitch is back on the block!! tonight's date is an internet hook up but we have been messaging each other and all seems good so fingers crossed. Tomorrow night its my friend Mareks 40th birthday party in Soho, it looks like being a good one, with friends dj'ing it seems the music will be marv.

Thanks to Dan for sending me this pic of my main man - Christopher Meloni, this man just gets hotter with age, look at those arms!!

Also had some fab news the other day, the other main love of my life, Danny Dyer, is heading to the west end in September to star in the play "Kurt and Sid", the play sounds a bit random and could quite possibly be awful but I don’t care as long as I can be in the same room as Danny I don't care. The play is set on the night that Kurt Cobain killed himself, he is just preparing to blow his brains out and sees a vision of Sid Vicious (played by Dyer), god knows how it will be received but bring on the Dyer!

THE IMAGINARY MEN OF PIPPY'S BOUDOIR!

Well some may have noticed that the 3rd series of Ugly Betty has started on Channel 4, it aint as good as it used to be (more marc and amanda please) anyways there is one very good reason to watch it, that is the presence of Eddie Cibrian - I remember him from that genius Channel 5 soap "Sunset Beach" and the fab film "But I'm a cheerleader" - anyway his body is amazing! enjoy

Have a grand weekend

hey people,

Yet again another gap in blogging, apol's for that. I have not even blogged about Michael Jackson's memorial! I managed to catch it on iplayer the night after and have to say I wept like a baby, generally I thought it was a beautiful service if a tad voyeuristic, Brooke Shields started me on the tears and then Motown Records founder - Berry Gordy did an amazing speech and how Jermaine Jackson managed to sing such a beautiful version of Michael's fave song "Smile" is beyond me and yes I have to admit shedding another tear when his daughter said her short but sweet piece, qall I can say is watch out Lourdes, Paris is after ya!

Last night I watched the documentary on channel 4 - "What really happened? the last days of Michael Jackson" it was very interesting, and painted Michael as a man who was completely addicted to prescription painkillers, that totally ruled his life, spending $100,000 in the space of a year on his habit, they interviewed people close to Mj who all said there was no way he would have been able to do 50 shows without massive amounts of uppers and downers, one doctor also stated that his death may have been due to him actually making an effort to stop taking drugs to get back on form for his shows but once off them for a while, one dosage could have been too much for his body to take and to me that sounds like the most realistic explanation, if that is the case it truly will be tragic waste of a great talent.

Now I am not sure what has happened to me lately, usually on this blog I bang on about being lonely in love but something has changed, I don’t know what it is but lately I have been getting a fair bit of interest from that species known as man! I have been having a major time of it, nothing like a bit of attraction to boost the confidence, I am walking with a swagger! stay tuned for further developments!

This week is all lovely as I have my friend Tony staying with me, although I have a housemate who I get on ok with, it is nice to have someone to chat to, am now really looking forward to my upcoming trip to Finland which will include a booze filled cruise over to stockholm! yay!!!

have also been watching Eastenders lately as they have been featuring their new gay storyline, where Christian (the only gay in the square) is seducing the lovely Muslim character Syed, it seems an ok storyline but yet again the main gay character is being portrayed as predatory, playing mind games with Syed and threatening to out him. This happened with Karl and Todd in Coronation Street years ago, can we maybe have a gay man who doesn’t literally chase men across the square please?

So Duncan James of recently reformed boyband Blue has come out as Bisexual, no major surprise there really but the reaction from the gay press has been so hideous! most saying they wonder when he is actually going to come out as gay, as if bisexuality is some make believe town on the way to gaysville. I welcome the fact that a guy from a boyband has the guts to speak out, although I wish the press would not refer to it as "admitting" he is bisexual, you admit to a crime not a sexuality!

I am going to try and be better with this blog from now on, enough of this work malarky getting in the way

ooh its been a while on the old blogging front!

I have been a very busy boy though and had to, for once, get my priorities right. What a truly tragic time it has been in the showbiz world. I was in Sheffield for a long weekend last weekend and was in that joyful bar called "Dempseys" when I received a text from a friend that read "O.M.G! Michael Jackson!" I text back with a rather abrupt "what?" to get a text that didn’t exactly break it to me gently as all it said was "Dead!" - I didn’t believe it so went on the internet on my phone and there was the headline "Michael Jackson dies of heart attack aged 50". I have written about Michael Jackson a lot on this blog over the last few years and the majority of things I have said have been rather negative and if we are all honest, he had not done a decent song for nearly 20 years but I cant deny that I used to be a MASSIVE MJ fan, I bought the Bad album the day it came out and also went to see him live on the Dangerous Tour in 1992 and am so glad I got the opportunity to do that, the man was amazing live, defying gravity with an angelic voice and making the fans go wild, I have seen Madonna many times but no one got a crowd going crazy like MJ. He was a truly exceptional performer. Obviously I cant ignore the man's private life, the abuse he suffered as a child at the hands of his frikkin evil father (who since his son's death has done the most deplorable self publicity I have ever seen, this may seem a bit strong but that man has blood on his hands) I just wonder if MJ would not have been so fucked up if his father had shown him any affection at all?

I am pleased that the majority of coverage of him since his death has focused on the most important thing, his music, his dancing and the effect he had on his fans. There is a public memorial in L.A on tuesday and it is expected that millions of people will attend to show their respect and great sadness of the loss of a legend, I have been listening to him all week, mainly his early stuff but cant seem to stop playing "Man in the Mirror" - it is such a beautiful and powerful tune! RIP MJ

Also in the last week we have lost the BEST Charlie's Angel, Farrah Fawcett who passed away after battling cancer and also the comedy legend that was Mollie Sugden, who has shifted off to heaven to sroke her pussy in peace.

I had a great time in Sheffield last weekend, managed to see almost everyone I wanted to see, Saw my lovely friend Emma's new baby girl for the first time and I have to say Kirsty is beautiful!! Lil Stanley is also a lil charmer with a cheeky grin, we took them to the park and I realised there and then that I am too scared a human being to become a father, ervytime stanley climbed on anything, I was scared so maybe I should just be an eternal uncle. I also saw Kerry and her 2 sons Eli and Dylan who are growing fast and totally adorable, this might sound bad but I seem to hear kids all the time around London using the most foul language and it was refreshing to see 2 boys who were 100% polite.

I stayed with the wonderful, marvellous Dan who kept me amused with his rather special version of "Man in the Mirror" which he sang using a TV remote control as a microphone, whilst spinning, slapping his ass and shouting "jambon, jambon" - I don’t think that’s what MJ used to shout on stage, what with it being french for ham. We spent saturday afternoon plonked in a beer garden surrounded by special people and then the night was spent drinking our own bodyweight, I kinda worked it out this week and I think on saturday alone I consumed over 2weeks worth of the recommended alcohol intake - binge drink britain!

On Monday night I went with Oliver and Boo to the Mayor's Pride Reception at City Hall, mainly for the free wine but also to see what kind of car crash speech Boris Johnson would make, oh and he really excelled himself! in talking about the lives of LGBT people in modern London his speech featured mentions of the island of Lesbos, the lesbian poet Sappho, whose poetry he recited in greek! thanks for that Boris - I feel like we really bonded! I feel safe in your hands - you upper class retarded cyclist obsessed ugly moron.

This weekend is London Gay Pride and I am not going!! woo hoo!! I have been to pride every year since I was about 18 and have worked there every year for about the last 7 years so am due time off, and what a pleasurable time it will be as the lovely James and Jim are getting hitched!! Its my first civil partnership and I cant think of a better couple to break me in (ooer), so many congrats in advance guys.

Ok its friday, the weekend is here and after a little gap its time for another of
