Euroblah

So it's over for another year! Personally i don't like Eurovision - i dont think the songs ever represent their countries in the way they should and it is all pathetic anyway due to the obvious political voting. Thanks though to Oliver, Rui and his mates for plying me with drink on saturday night so i could make it through. The party was in Uxbridge and there was lots of gorge food and drink but having a hangover and making it back from there on a dreary sunday morning was far from fun. Uxbridge shopping centre - compararble to an explosion at Kerry Katona's wedding - vile!!

Every week you read reports in the press on the huge increase in obesity in young people and everyone blames everyone else, parents blame schools, schools blame parents and everyone blames blatant junk food advertising and availability - after spending time in Uxbridge shopping centre i would also pop a little blame on the designer who though it would be a good idea to put wheels on kid's trainers! how lazy do you have to be? chavs on casters! what is the world coming to? is this the future? what will happen at the olympics? all those promising athletes at the starting line checking that the red lights in their soles are flashing, the wheels are down - on your marks, get set, go! innit.

After getting back from Uxbridge i had the laziest day ever, flopped on my bed staring at my shelves of DVD''s waiting for one to spring out at me - and then to my delight and surprise i discovered my 2 series of "Spaced" simply on of the best comedies ever!! i literally watched nearly every episode and it really brightened up my day - if you have never seen it, i am sure you can get the dvd's for a bargain - Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson at their best!!
