Good afternoon people

Sorry for the ever so slight delay in posting but the last few days have been random to say the least.

Saturday was the murder mystery party which was simply bizarre! There are many reasons for this but i shall focus on just one - I am not blaming the hosts but there was a woman there who i simply wanted to smack, i don't believe in violence against women but this one really took the piss. She was one of those straight people who could only associate gay men with anal sex. At one point she asked my dear friend Pete if he had ever had a girlfriend to which he replied yes, she then asked if he had ever done her up the bum!! we had met her less than 2 hours ago! We turned all her bum sex questions back to her and she would not answer any of them.

I would never dream of invading a straight persons sex life by asking hideously intimate questions like that, to do that to any gay man is extraordinarily rude and ignorant. The stereotype that all gay men have sex all the time is exactly that - a stereotype. So think before you speak, oh and never say either of the following "i love gay people" or "i have lots of gay friends" - its not like you are going to get a medal.

Sunday was spent at Pete's old house in Hackney, I had such a good time and cuaght up with people i had not seen for a while. It always seems to escape my notice that sunday is the day before monday, so when i finally went to sleep at 4.30am i was in a little bit of a state, lets just say that i felt shocking yesterday and spent the whole day feeling very sorry for myself.

Today though i am all good. Ihave managed to eat healthy and i have slept well so it's all systems go. The next few weeks at work are going to be tres busy so i need my wits about me.

I was reading this morning that "comedian" Bernard Manning has passed away. He was known in his time as being one of the most offensive comedians in Britain with his racist, sexist and homophobic jokes spreading like poison across the land. I think it's a credit to this country that that kind of humour is really not accepted except for maybe in Blackpool but who the hell would want to be watching comedy there?

I am so still not getting into Big Brother, Mainly due to being out quite a bit at the moment, enjoying the weather but also there doesnt seem to be that much going on. Usually the mainstream press is full of articles but apart from the racist comment at the start of the series there has not been a huge amount of coverage. Apparently we have now had the first ever gay kiss! but that was during a game of truth or dare.

Well the "Hollyoaks" gay storyline is still going on but one of the characters has now announced he is leaving so that should put a stop to all the tea time man on man action! the same thing happened on "Coronation Street" - their first gay storyline was fantastic and then one of the characters left and we were left with mincing Sean the "best actor" in soap - whatever!

Blog will be back to normal with daily updates from tomorrow
