Public displays of affection

I claim to be a romantic old sod but there are certain things that I don't like mainly due to being single since biblical times (i didn't even have a partner for noah's ark!), the main thing i can't stand is couples kissing continuously in public, I just want to abtter them over the head with a club screaming "stop being so fuckin happy".

I do however object to this news story and am glad that some has complained - basically at 6.30am on sunday march 30th a gay male couple were waiting for a train at St Pancras station and were holding hands and kissing but apparently they were not being lewd or lascivious. After a short while an announcement was made on the speakers covering the entire station that said

"passengers please keep their hands to themselves and refrain from kissing."

Oh my god!! thankfully another guy heard this and immediately complained, making the point that smack bang in the middle of the station is a 9m statue of a straight couple kissing.



Why not smash the shit out of that first before completely humiliating a totally innocent couple.



It seems the complaint has been dealt with well but boo to whoever made that announcement.
