Looking back

Well the year is drawing to a close and it's time to reflect back on what has been a very interesting year. A couple of weeks ago my phone was mislaid/stolen and that provided me with the opportunity to do a little life laundry. I had lost a lot of my numbers once before so had taken the time to type out a list of numbers. As i was inputting these back into my phone i did a bit of thinking and ended up putting a lot less numbers back in there. It may sound harsh but if you aint used a number in time is it worth having it in your phone any longer?

My friends have been so so great this year. Keeping me laughing and supported and loved. They know who they are - they have been mentioned in this blog many times. I love them all dearly!!

Love life wise it has not been such a great year. The world of internet dating just frustrates me. I also grew quite disillusioned with the gay scene. I thought all was lost until i was approached in a bar in soho last night whilst waiting to meet my friend Dan. This austraian guy wanted a beginners guide to gay london and we chatted/flirted for ages - nothing happened but it restored my faith that men are out there and interested.

2 major personal milestones have happened this year - i turned 30 and around the same time i stopped smoking!! I have not made a big deal of talking about it on this site as i didnt want to curse t but i have now managed 1 month!!!! I am amazed!! I have been smoking for half of my life and to finally stop is one of the biggest and best things i have ever done.

Work this year has been great and i move into 2007 with an exciting new project that i know will be challenging but hopefully rewarding. I shall continue my work with switchboard which is really enjoyable and should fully qualify by march/april.

As for the far more trivial world of entertainment, well its been a great year!!

My favourite album of the year has to be Justin Timberlakes - FutureSex/LoveSounds

I have not been to the cinema as much as i would have liked this year but the highlights for me have been The Devil Wears Prada, Little Miss Sunshine and The Queen.

TV shows that i have refused to miss this year include - Law and Order-Special Victims Unit mainly for the wonderful Christopher Meloni, The Catherine Tate Show was back on form and the 2nd series of The Smoking Room was genius as was the 2nd series of Extras.

Easily the best show i saw this year was of course Madonna's Confessions Tour!! Just amazing but i think i have ranted enough about our gracious leader!!

Tomorrow is New Years Eve and i have a very bizarre one planned but the people that i will be with will make it the best!! I doubt i will be blogging tomorow so i shall wish you all a happy new year and i should be back with a mashed up blog on the 2nd January

You go girls!! (and girly boys!)

It's all about FAMILY

Well thats it xmas is over!! i cant say i was majorly looking forward to it this year - some of the magical excitement of the holidays has gone now but it was so lovely to see my family and friends. I did manage to catch up with almost everyone i wanted to. Lovely to see Emma and Tim and the beautiful baby Stanley!!

Not forgetting the gay boys - Danny, Deeds, Matt and Dan! Cheers for the nights out honeys. My liver will never forget you! I am using these next 2 days to recover, chill out, catch up on some tv and carry on filling my lovely lil ipod!!

One of the tv highlights for me was watching Pauline Fowler drop down dead on Eastenders!! I would like to think that now she has gone, Albert Square will be a happier place but that is not likely.

Of the many xmas present i received this year the best has to be from my friend Dan and it is quite simply the link to this video, Justin Timberlake on "Saturday Night Live" - if i got what he is suggesting for xmas i would never leave the house again!

Its that time and its the last one of 2006!!!

THE IMAGINARY MEN OF PIPPY'S BOUDOIR!

It was the top rated programme on xmas day this year. Some might say for Dawn French, some might say for Richard Curtis but i believe that "The Vicar of Dibley" was most popular due to the presence of Richard Armitage. I have never really seen much of his work before but he is simply charming, sexy and has a voice that i could listen to all day! Dont forget to check him out again in the final episode on New Years Day

Catch you tomorrow people - i will be sorting my year out and thinking about some of my personal highlights and some of the big entertainment stories.

Hi people,

Well thats it! work is over for another year and xmas is just a couple of days away. Shopping is all done and now i am dedicating my day to filling my ipod for my time at home over the next few days.

Going through my cd's has been a bit of a trip down memory lane, as expected there is a lot of Madonna but also loads of Tori Amos, kd lang and Rufus Wainwright. Very bizarre mix but i am sure it will make for a few interesting journeys.

Well i still have quite a few things to do so i shall leave you with this weeks

THE IMAGINARY MEN OF PIPPY'S BOUDOIR

I do love the bad boys and this guy is a proper geezer who looks like he would give me a rather pleasurable yet slightly filth ridden seeing to!! It's Danny Dyer!!

Well even though i will be in deepest darkest Sheffield i shall still be updating, So more news soon.

Yay! Yay! and Yay again!!

My laptop is now fully functional!! I have no idea what my flatmate did but it worked!! The only problem now is that i am not sure when to stop, i was awake til gone 4am this morning dowloading music onto my ipod and chatting to my friend Matt.

Well in just a few days it will be xmas! I am going home for the traditional family gathering. A few years ago the thought of this would have filled me with the kind of fear that can only be matched by being strapped down and forced to watch a Hollyoaks omnibus.

This year will be different, I am older and wiser and have really grown to not only appreciate my family more but also where i come from. My love affair with London is still in full swing but being able to leave for a few days and get some fresh air does me the world of good, plus there is nothing like proper home cooked meals rather than the meal for one durge that i throw in my gut.

Xmas also gives me a great excuse to see people that i have not seen in a long time. Friends from school and the good old gay days in Sheffield. I can't sayi am majorly looking forward to going out on the gay scene in Sheffield mainly because it sucks. Too many ex's turning up at the same time and drinks offers displayed behind the bar on star shaped illuminous card!! Thank god for my friends - who make even the worst club or bar great fun! mainly by standing in the corner and laughing at the parade of mullets!

There is not a lot going on in the showbiz world today, although it is rather funny that i mentioned that drunk lush from Girls Aloud yesterday and today on the Sky News website there are over 30 pictures of her in various wrecked states! I can't slag her off too much - i am no stranger to going out and falling into a skip with a kebab in my hand. I have actually turned it into quite a sport!

I don't know if any people reading this have been watching the new Jennifer Saunders comedy on BBC1 called "Jam and Jerusalem". It is a bit of a grower but frankly anything with Sue Johnston in gets my vote! Anyone who was lucky enough to see last weeks had a real treat. Miriam Margolyes had a brief cameo role in a scene with David Mitchell of "Mitchell and Webb" fame - well it was one of the funniest things i have seen on tv for a long time!! Both actors are superb in the scene. Here is the clip (the scene starts a couple of minutes in but is well worth the wait!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IChCNWfnXWU

Anyway thats enough from me.

Sometimes the easiest things are the hardest to do!

Well people,

I got home last night all excited ready to play with my new laptop, start downloading cd;s and filling up my ipod but it turns out that something somewhere has gone wrong i cannot connect to my flatmate's wireless network! We both tried all night and nothing! If anyone has any suggestions they would be most welcome.

It's really bugged me because every night this week is really busy so i hardly have anytime to sort it all out and i really wanted new tunes to listen to in Sheffield. To drown out my dad's "Jethro" dvd and endless crap xmas tv.

Well the rumour mill has started on this years "Celebrity Big Brother" and the one that is the most shocking is the one saying that Whitney (i dont even need to say her last name!!) is going into the house. Now step back a minute!! That girl needs to be in a recording studio fixing a comeback not making cups of tea for that blonde drunk lush from Girls Aloud!!

I was just chatting with a colleague about Beyonce (yeah its busy at work!) we were saying that its about time she asked her mum (Momma Tina Knowles) to stop designing clothes for her - Momma Tina used to design loads of stuff for Destiny's Child and although the girls were fierce they sometimes looked like an explosion down 5 stars house. Now that Beyonce has gone solo, she usually changes clothes about 7 times in each video and you can always spot the Momma Tina number cos it is nasty!! She ought to be singing

"To the left, to the left - all my momma tina frocks in a box to the left!"

Throw them out girl!! Donate them to Javine - that skanky ho needs some threads!

I see that Matt Lucas and his partner Kevin McGee had their civil partnership at the weekend. I was looking thought the press yesterday and most if it was good, As the reception was panto themed the Daily Star had the headline

"Look out he's behind you!" - Words fail me and apparently the same happened to the journalist who wrote that story too. Sad very sad!

I have recently sent off a letter to my bank to request my statements for the last 6 years. Basically if you are not already aware you can now claim back your bank charges for the last 6 years. So all those times that you went slightly overdrawn or bounced a cheque and were charged £30 -£40, well you can ask for your statements under the data protection act and go through them highlighting these charges and claim them back.

It is ridiculous how much banks charge stating that going overdrwn leads to admin charges of £30. There was a programme on BBC2 last week about this and a panel of experts worked out that in this age of computers the actual cost inadmin of going overdrawn on your account is around £2.50 and a bounced cheque? - £4.50. I encourage everyone to look into this. There is all the information you need on the BBC website - www.bbc.co.uk/moneyprogramme.

Judith Dramas!!

Hi Hons,

Another weekend of drama and drinking!! Friday was another xmas party which i cant remember a huge amount about, the journey home from it was drama filled though. Totally massive coronation street style girl fight on the night bus, Hair was pulled, water was thrown and i was right in the middle of it! Thankfully i didn't get bitch slapped and i dont have any hair to pull!

Saturday night i popped over to Oliver's to get ready for our big night out, X factor was watched and champagne was drunk. Big up the hackney massive as Leona won the X factor!!!! You go girl!! After that excitement we headed into Vauxhall for a night at Horse Meat Discos "Vauxhall is Gurning" - everything was going so well until "something" happened to Oliver and he wanted to leave, cut to us standing outside the club drunkenly screaming at each other and storming off in opposite directions. It's all good now and i refuse to say anymore about it!

Yesterday i had a lovely lovely day!! It's not often that i get to spend much time with myself, so i went out quite early and did a bit of xmas shopping and went to the cinema which is always a great way to spend a sunday afternoon. Met up with Tony, Anna, Clare and Glenn last night for a few drinks and a catch up. Wont see Tony and Anna now til the new year as they are off to Finland on thursday.

The fabulous news is my laptop arrived this morning and it is so lovely and light!! Sadly i didnt have time to set it up as duty called but i am going to be racing home tonight to sort it out! Also my flatmate has bought an XBox 360 - i had a quick go last night and am loving it - there is something about slamming into cars and driving really fast that totally chills me out!

I have got a majorly busy week with work and trying to meet up with friends before Xmas. I am actually looking forward to xmas now, as i get older it the holiday seems to lose its magic but this year i am really looking forward to going home and having a break from the big smoke and the chaos!!

Ring Ring Ring goes the telephone!

Oh dear people! Last night i went out for Oliver's birthday and my phone did a disappearing act and i am well bugged!! You never realise how much you rely on your phone til it's gone! I never wear a watch and used the clock on my phone to know what time it was so now i am wandering round randomly asking people if it's my teatime!

Ah well, On a more positive note i have just ordered my laptop!! i cannot wait, i shall mainly be using it for itunes, email and porn obviously. The logic behind buying it now is that when i am poor and eating beans straight from the tin in January, i can just lock myself away in my flat and get on the download!

I was really annoyed last night partly due to the phone extravaganza but also by a story in the London Lite Newspaper. As if it's not bad enough being accosted 16 times on the way to the train station by a bunch of jobseekers ramming newapapers in yer face but then you take one and its written by someone who could not write their name on a toilet door in their own shit! The headline last night was

"Madge fails to see funny side at comedy awards"

The article then goes on to say that Madonna had a right face on due to Jonathan Ross' dig at her. I doubt the journalist even watched the show, they had a little banter and Madonna got a massive round of applause! Oh and lets not forget her massive diva behaviour of wanting to avoid the paparazzi by entering the awards through a side entrance. My god whatever will she ask for next?? water? a chair? a loo? stay tuned for more pointless innaccurate press from the shit free london papers.

THE IMAGINARY MEN OF PIPPY'S BOUDOIR!

Anyway people its that time of week again - and boy could i do with a bit of man on man action after the week i have had! And who better to trouble me with their purple headed custard chucker than the lovely american actor Chris Evans

Ah thats better

I cant type anymore!!

have joy sprinkled weekends

Chris Tarrant is not funny!

Hey People,

I watched the British Comedy Awards last night and they were pretty good except for the most bizarre winner of the night - Lifetime Achievement Award went to Chris Tarrant! - When Lenny Henry first announced it i honestly thought he was joking and judging by the silence from the rest of the audience so did they! since when was hosting a quiz show funny? "is that your final answer?" oh friggin hilarious chris! its the way you tell em!! It was great to see so many of my favourites win - Catherine Tate, Stephen Merchant, Russell Brand and Peep Show. The highlight of the night though was quite unexpected - Jonathan Ross was introducing the next award and introduced Madonna - now i thought it was going to be Avid Merrion taking the piss but no, on walked our gracious leader looking fierce!! She was introducing her friend Sacha Baron Cohen who had won a writers award for his "Borat" film . Her appearance totally perked up my night!

It's the X factor final on saturday night and i am praying that Leona wins!! Apparently on last weekends show there were just 1000 votes seperating Leona and Ray. No offense to little Ray but he does seem to be a bit of a one trick pony and he looks like a Robbie Williams doll!

It's pay day tomorrow which is usually a joyous occasion but what with xmas and new year coming up it's going to be a very expensive time! and i dont get paid again til the 24th January. I am buying a laptop this weekend and am going to spend January flitting between downloading cd's and filling up my ipod and going to the cinema as much as possible - detox sweetie detox!!

Finally - Happy Birthday Oliver!!! 30 today lady!! welcome to my box! You are looking fabulous on it honey, Looking forward to seeing ya later and saturday drunken madness!! kisses

Right all this xmas lark is bringing me down so am off to get some vodka and a kebab - its lunchtime!

Hi Guys

Well last night i had another night in! I began watching "The Royal Variety Performance" which was semi-ok but then Barry "botoxed within an inch of his life" Mannilow came on and i had to turn over, flicking through the channel's i happened upon ITV2 and the hilarious "Ghosthunting with Girls Aloud" - I love Girls Aloud! They are a proper girlband, they are all pretty gobby, not bad looking apart from the ginger one who looks like she is working on a costcutter checkout half the time. Anyway the girls were being taken round a haunted house by Yvette Fielding to find ghosts and ghouls!

I am supremely pessimistic about ghosts. I am waiting for someone to prove me wrong but if ghosts do exist why do they just come out when Yvette and her camera, light and sound crew turn up? At one point last night inan admittedly fantastic moment Cheryl Tweedy Cole got a bit fed up of waiting around for the spirits so shouted in her geordie accent "Oh for gods sake if you are in here just bang the fuckin table!" and would ya believe it - something banged on the table!

It was all a bit of ridic harmless fun but it kept me chuckling for a while. I flicked from there to the best of the British Comedy Awards - some truly hilarious moments mainly from Ricky Gervais, The genius of Spike Milligan and a pissed up Kathy Burke! This years ceremony is on tonight live on ITV. I shall be tuning in and praying that Catherine Tate wins something and if she does i hope she takes a leaf out of Kathy Burke's book and screams

"well it's about fuckin time!!"

Tune in tonight to see how many times ITV have to apologise for swearing - it's after 9pm just get over it ya twats!

I am a huge fan of certain crime shows, my favourite being Law and Order : Special Victims Unit. It's quite a different story when these stories come to life. No one can escape the news at the moment that 5 prostitutes have been found murdered in the last 10 days all near Ipswich. There is not much i can say about this. It's extremely upsetting and lets all just think positively that the police will catch the person who is committing these hideous crimes really soon.

Take good care honeys

Hi People!

Hope you all had gorge weekends! Mine was soo lovely! Went over to Oliver's on friday for a quiet night in! We got through more alcohol than Amy Winehouse! We were so trashed - staying up til 6am playing one of those interactive music quiz dvd's - all seemed a good idea at the time! I did have a great night and it was fab to have a good old catch up. I didn't feel too bad in the morning so dashed home to get ready and headed off to Brighton for the wedding! It was all so lovely. So many touching speeches and Clive and Adrian seemed to have a really great time.

Of course you cant have a wedding without a bit of drink - There was a lot of free sherry at the reception and i didnt think i liked it but it seemed to be ok as long as i downed it in one! From that point on it all got a bit messy but luckily i was with team mash up (Pete, Kaz, Sherie, Tom etc) so i was well looked after.

Sunday was a bit of a haze and i was glad to get to my bed! Not too much to report since then. I had a night in last night and watched "Housewife 49" Starring Victoria Wood, I had taped it from the night before - i was a bit dubious about Victoria Wood attempting a drama but all worries were put aside. This was an excellent drama and the acting was superb, its been a long time since i have felt so good after a programme but this really hit the spot!

Right this week is Oliver's birthday and the beginning of the xmas do's. I am going to be hiding in the cinema in preparation for the madness.

It's a his and his weekend!!

Hi Darlings!!
Well it's good to be back. I have calmed down now after my Carole Malone rant last night. I am not going to sink to her level, I am better than that, i am going to move on with dignity and my head held high because at the end of the day Carole Malone has got a lot on her plate!! Literally!

It's all very exciting this weekend - I am going to my 1st gay wedding civil partnership commitment ceremony mash up! Should be a great do with loads of people, food, drink and dancing! Congrats to Clive and Adrian! Wishing all the best!
I can't believe i totally forgot to mention the final of "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" - A former pippy's boudoir pumper won!! The cheeky chappy that is Matt Willis but i actually wanted Myleene to win towards the end. She was totally stunning, came across as just being lovely and would try anything!! I have slagged her off in the past but she is now a star in my eyes! Bless Dame Myleene of Klass
Someone who aint been as lucky is poor poor Mel B!! Got preggers with Eddie Murphy's kid and now he has dumped her and stated on national tv that he does not believe the baby is his. Oh Mel - how did this happen? You were in the Spice Girls!! You did a song with Missy Elliot and your sister was in Emmerdale!! Cmon girlfriend!! Girl power - sue the cartoon donkey man for all his shrek bucks and get that spice reunion sorted - we all know its going to happen!
Can someone please explain the new Gwen Stefani single to me please? It is bad noise!! Her 1st album was so good and was my main "getting ready to go out and get mash up" cd for ages but her new album has not been awarded more than 2 stars in any magazine that i have read - all feels a bit rushed to me gwen! Take yer time love and stop yodelling!
When i was a little gay boy at school, everyone seemed to realise that i was gay before i did. I am not sure whether it was my Cher t-shirt, my spice girl platform trainers or my dance routines but something tipped them off! The majority of my nicknames related to bum sex but it was also widely thought that i looked like a tv character from the 80's called "Doogie Howser MD". He was played by an actor called Neil Patrick Harris. Well just last week Neil came out in the American Press!! So it looks like we had more than looks in common. He is currently starring in a very funny sitcom called "How i met your mother". Check it out! I actually quite fancy him, is that wrong?

As much as i fancy the lovely Neil, he has not done enough to earn a place in

THE IMAGINARY MEN OF PIPPY'S BOUDOIR!

This weeks entry (fnar fnar) goes to a soap actor who has been in Emmerdale since he was a wee lad. This is how he looked when he first joined the soap

Now dont panic i aint buying Neverland Ranch just yet! But people look how he has turned out!! this is a screen grab from this week, What is it about me and big arms!!??

Goodness me!!
Right honeys, I am off to wrap myself around those bad boys and swing til dawn.

I HATE CAROLE MALONE!!

Now i know hate is a strong word people but i had to add this extra entry after watching a pointless programme on ITV just now. It was called "Madonna: Million Dollar Babies" - you can tell by the title that it was an ITV show although its more what i would expect from Channel 5!

Basically lots of journalists that have never met Madonna harping on about what they think of her adopting an african baby. They were all a bit stupid but hey they were british tabloid journalists. The worst of the lot was the hideous whale of a woman called Carole Malone - she "writes" for "The Sunday Mirror" - i could fall on a keyboard and write a better column. Here are some quotes from the open minded, kind hearted humanitarian aka Carole Malone

"celebrities think to themselves - how can i get more publicity? how can i be seen to be giving something back?"

"What i find funny is all of a sudden this totally selfish woman who only cares about herself is in Africa cuddling anything with a pulse"

"The baby arrived back to a mad barrage of photographers" (sent by your employers miss malone?)

and this was my fave quote

"whose to say that living in a mud hut not knowing when your next meal is coming is any better than living with a popstar"

Dear Sunday Mirror,

Where the fuck did you find her??? Who is she????

Coming out of the dark!!!

Well people i am feeling a lot better!! Thanks to lemsip, lemon and ginger tea with honey in it and hot water with slices of lemon and loads of vitamins i am back on my feet. Yay!! I am still coughing loads but i guess thats stopping smoking for ya.

I have been stuck in the flat for days and have worked my way through so much music, tv, dvd's, books and magazines! i can recommend not watching any daytime tv whatsoever. i highly recommend the film "finding neverland" - ooh it made me weep! The Fratellis album is genius and the new issue of "attitude" is a waste of money.

Not got a huge amount to report, i guess i will have more to say tomorrow when i get back to the world outside of these walls.

bye honeys

He is such a high flying business woman!
Well i am in a great mood today, it's friday! it's pippy's boudoir day and last night i met up with Pete and he told me that he has a fabulous new job!! So we had to have a little celebration. Congrats Pete - knew you could do it hon!

Well it's World AIDS Day today, i hope people are wearing their red ribbons! You can find out ways of donating cash and tips on campaigning by following this link

I have been a bit of an ignorant boy, i thanked loads of people for coming to the party but i made a half hearted sweeping statement thanking the sheffielders for coming so i would like to take this opportunity to thank Dan, Danny and Matt for enduring flat tyres, missed trains and long journeys to be with us on saturday night. Love you all dearly!

Got quite a nice weekend planned, should be pretty chilled - i am working tomorrow on the switchboard. I really need to start going to the cinema again! I have one of those unlimited cards for Cineworld cinemas, They are such a bargain especially for London. £14 a month and i get to see as many films as i like! So a trip to the cinema should sort me out!

It's a bit of a dreary day weather wise so i shall brighten things up with...

THE IMAGINARY MEN OF PIPPY'S BOUDOIR!

Am going to go a bit sporty today. Generally i am not a huge one for any kind of sport but i am a total sucker for tennis. I have always loved watching wimbledon and this guy has now given me reason to watch as much tennis as possible. He has an amazing body, the cutest smile and he is a great player! Its the sweet sweet Andy Roddick

Lovely and yummy! Well my little chums, that's it for today! have good weekends. I am going to go and audition to be Andy's ball boy!
