A Right Royle Lump in my Throat!

It has taken me a while to write this due to being a total steamer and not actually having been in the house. Last night i got round to watching the one off "Royle Family" special and i was not disappointed.

The great thing about this show was that they could always have the most blindingly hilarious moment smack bang next to a truly heartbreaking piece of drama. Sunday nights episode featured the perfect mix of the 2. The acting of Liz Smith and Sue Johnston in particular was a showcase of British talent! I urge anyone who missed this to ask Santa for the dvd collection. This is a comedy that gets better the more you watch it!

Now i have to admit that i am exhausted today but i promise tomorrow's entry will be full of juicy titbits! For a start spliffhead George Michael is on "The South Bank Show" tonight - that should give me some material!!

What a weekend!!

Hello my lovelies! Well i had a pretty random weekend. As per usual drinks after work on friday led to a rather large drinking session. Ended up meeting Pete and Kaz in Element in Soho for wine, wine and more wine!! Pete gave me my heels for his party, I am going to be the tallest Kylie Minogue in history! They are proper fierce drag queen shoes and i can see myself being in pain. I shall be wearing them round the flat this week to practice.

Saturday morning i met up with Kaz in Dalston to finish off our fancy dress shopping and even though we both had killer hangover's i think we did pretty well. It was never going to be easy trying high heel boots on in shops but i managed it and have got a pair that fit like a glove. Just a few more lil bits to get and it's party time! I am really excited about Pete's party and think its going to be truly hilarious! We have all had a hand in sorting the music so depending on my shoes i should be cutting some serious moves on the dancefloor!

Saturday night i met up with Tony and Anna for a few beers and then off we popped to Borderline (dirty lil indie club in the west end) The music was fantastic, some newies and some great classic tunes!

Yesterday was a bit of a write off as i was recovering but unexpectedly went out last night with Pete, Kaz and Dawn to the fabulous Too 2 Much in Soho for their cabaret spectacular night. I had been once before and had such a good time and last night was even better. They were celebrating a year of cabaret and the bill was packed with great singers and comedians. However the highlight of the night was the actor Alan Cumming arriving half way through and holding the door open for Kaz. Now most people know him from the X Men films but the reason we were so excited is that Alan is in our favourite film - "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion" - he plays a character called Sandy Frink. Big appreciation for Kaz who went to speak to him - apparently he was very lovely!

I was going to post a delightful picture from Romy and Michelle but this evil computer wont let me for some monday related reason!!

Right i better get off, Got rehearsal tonight, Not got much time now to get the routine all sorted! We really need to start paying in sweat!! 5,6,7,8!

Damn!!! That songs got balls!!!

What is he on about? that songs got balls? This delightful expression was uttered by "love her or hate her" Sara Cox. I was listening to her radioa show this week and thats how she described the new single by Akon featuring Eminem, I was sat on a train at the time and this made me laugh for a record half an hour, tears running down my face, shoulders shaking whilst the man next to me was fearing for his life!

Hot diggity dog!! It's friday! Praise the Kylie, Thank Madonna! Bring on the weekend. I went on a lil shopping expedition last night to try and get a gorge suit for the celebration of mine and oliver's 30th birthday. We hit Oxford Street after work and it was hideous!! I do truly believe that most of the world's serial killers found their inner rage trying to get across the road at Oxford Circus! Why do people walk so slowly? If they walked any slower they would be standing still! Why do people walk with their heads turned to the right and then give out evils when they walk into someone? Watch where you are going asswipe!

I think there is a skinny gay boy conspiracy afoot in Topman on Oxford Street. Everytime they get a new line of clothing in, i get there and all thats left are sizes that i could quite happily use as a duvet! All we are saying is give skinny gay boys a chance!!

The new series of "The Catherine Tate Show" started last night and it was good but i want it better, some of the characters are getting a tad predictable, She is still one of the funniest women around at the minute and i am sure more new characters will be introduced and no doubt i shall be impersonating their catchphrases to an annoying level very soon.

This is gonna be one hell of a busy weekend!! I have got sooo much shopping to do! Tomorrow night should be fun though - am off to The Borderline Club off Charing Cross Road, Its a proper old skool dirty indie club that will play all the classics!

Off out tonight for a few beers with Pete and Kaz - the popstar party is just around the corner and we have soo much to discuss plus i need to get my outfits sorted sharpish!! I am feeling the pressure to impress and it is ruling my life! I am dreaming about high heels and madonna dance routines, not sure who i am trying to fool, i have been having these dreams since the cot!

Right now obviously its friday so that means that it is time for

The Imaginary Men Of Pippy's Boudoir

There is one man that i have been thinking of putting on here for a while but it's all a bit obvious but maybe thats the point. This man is so classic! As the wonderful women of sex and the city once claimed this man is like a chanel suit, he will always be in style! he makes me go swooney! Ladies and indeed gentlemen i give you Mr George Clooney

That smile, The style, Those eyes and for anyone who has seen Solaris (worst film ever!) it is worth sitting through the hellish film just to see this man's rockin ass!!
Have a fierce weekend!

Madonna vs The Media

Well, well, well it looks like Madonna has finally set the record straight and i think she might have been reading this very blog! I had a good old rant at the media and now she has quite literally done a yoga style flip onto my big pink bandwagon! Seriously though - Go Madonna! There are not many artists who have the power to really highlight how negative and misleading the media can be, so it's a big fuck you to all the haters!

I am most definitely not a morning person, i struggle to get out of bed of a morning and generally never arrange meetings anytime before midday due to my lack of brain power and interest but today i discovered a whole new way of waking up! It's all about the dance people. I slapped on "Dancing Machine" by The Jacksons this morning and found myself cutting some serious moves around my bedroom with not a care in the world. I highly recommend it for a better day!

I see that Naomi Campbell has been arrested for the 3rd time this year on assault charges. This time it appears that she has smacked the crap out of her counsellor!! These people should really know better! If Naomi is in the room dont leave anything that can be thrown lying around - she seems to favour phones and laptops, So if you are ever in Curry's and Ms. Campbell walks in, run like you have never run before or take cover!

I saw this video the other day on the Ellen Degeneres show and had to put a link on here. It just made my mouth drop to the floor!!

They all survived!!

Right people, things to do and lives to slightly improve

Too gay to function?

Hey People,

Apologies for the blog delay. Been feeling a lil under the weather of late and quite sorry for myself but i believe that i am back on form today so here we go!

I have tried not to get sucked into this years X-Factor but it is turning out to be a struggle - mainly due to the comedy value of a group called "Eton Road" - They are generally your run of the mill boyband but with an extra little something special, the gayest member ever! He is soooo gay!! I have to admit to laughing quite a lot at his flamboyant arm movements and diva looks at the camera! Then i realised that if that was me on that stage everything would be 10 times more camp - so i am now supporting the lil gay diva, you go girl!! keep your eyes peeled for him. I imagine this saturday he will be launched from a trapdoor in the stage like Shirley Bassey at a Royal Variety Show!

Today is Heat Magazine day! Usually i would bang on about how much i want to push Kerry Katona into the deep freeze at Iceland but today whilst flicking through the celeb riddled pages of joy - i hit the TV guide and my heart skipped a beat - next week sees the long overdue return of a truly great comedy - "The Royle Family" - anyone who has seen this before will know what i mean. At last Caroline Aherne has put pen to paper and apparently come up with a great script. Check it out next sunday at 9pm on BBC1

Our gracious leader Madonna is going to break her silence tomorrow with my other queen Oprah. She will of course be talking about the adoption and i am sure Ms Winfrey will probe like a trooper. Oprah and Madonna together - i think i might have an asthma attack!

Some people felt that my comments regarding Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse were quite offensive, How could i know what they smell like when i have never met them? I will tell you how! i live in the same city and their stink covers all the boroughs - i aint apologising! its called pippy rants for a reason.

"I'm on the train, I SAID I AM ON THE TRAIN!"

The other day i stupidly forgot to put my stereo in my bag before going to work. I always listen to music and read on the way to work and therefore, am usually able to block out the mobile phone conversations of the commuters around me. It is safe to say i shall never leave my stereo at home again!!

I generally hate mobile phones especially on public transport, i dont even like talking on mine and always try to find the quiet coach on a train. I hate the idea of other people listening to my conversation but it seems i am alone in this. It would not be so bad if these conversations were the slightest bit interesting but banging on about what was on tv last night in severe detail just infects my ears with boredom. Why do people feel the need to shout down the phone as well? Do us non-morning people a favour and save it til you get to work.

Dont ya just hate it when ya payday lands on a monday or tuesday? It just means that the weekend before is pants!! This has been another extremely long week at work and quite frankly all i want to do this weekend is get totally trashed, go out dancing and meet a lovely boy. I know that November is going to be full of wonderful nights out but i am one greedy homo!

I stayed in last night to watch the last episode of Extras and have to say it was genius!! Not for Ricky Gervais but for Stephen Merchant - the scenes with him in were classic comedy! Next week the wonderful Catherine Tate is back!! and also Simon Amstell starting his new job as presenter of "Never Mind The Buzzcocks" - if his last appearance is anything to go by, this series should be hilarious!!

Now onto .... The Imaginary Men of Pippy's Boudoir

This weeks "award" goes to the new love of my life who this week has made every day that little bit more bearable. As you will have read i am a major fan of Ellen Degeneres and have started watching her chat show on Five Life. Her resident Dj is Johnny Abrahams who is also an actor. He has the CUTEST smile ever!! and arms that i could write a song about (maybe thats something i can do this weekend!)

Anyway he would be more than welcome to fill my world with music and get my booty shaking!!

Finally i just want to say that i HATE Lily Allen, she looks like she stinks! Mainly of chip fat and white lightning cider - a more extreme stench would exude from Amy Winehouse who looks like she whiff's of an overspilling ashtray thats had warm stella barfed into it!

have fun people

Ah Baby David!!

No not that one! Although whenever i hear about Madonna's new adopted baby david, I cannot escape the royle family!!

My friend Glenn has asked that i write something on the blog about the story thats been hitting the headlines for the last 2 weeks all over the world. Madonna adopting an African baby.

Now anyone who reads this blog regularly will know that i am a huge Madonna fan and have stuck with her through the best and worst of times (Dear Jessie??!!). I think it is a shame that any parent should have to feel that they have to give their own child up for adoption due to lack of money. Oh to be in an ideal world people but that aint where we live. The press has jumped all over this saying that Madonna picked baby david out of a line up and whisked him out of the country whilst ignoring all adoption laws. Where has all this information come from? How reliable is it?

Madonna has released an open letter to the press today contradicting a lot of the media speculation about her "illegally" adopting the baby and not going through the same adoption process as everyone else.

Here is her open letter

My husband and I began the adoption process many months prior to our trip to Malawi.I did not wish to disclose my intentions to the world prior to the adoption happening as this is a private family matter. After learning that there were over one million orphans in Malawi, it was my wish to open up our home and help one child escape an extreme life of hardship, poverty and in many cases death, as well as expand our family.Nevertheless, we have gone about the adoption procedure according to the law like anyone else who adopts a child. Reports to the contrary are totally inaccurate. The procedure includes an 18-month evaluation period after which time we hope to make this adoption permanent. This was not a decision or commitment that my family or I take lightly.I am overwhelmed and inspired by my trip to Malawi and hope that it helps bring attention to how much more the world needs to do to help the children of Africa. My heartfelt thanks for all the good wishes I have received and I hope the press will allow my family some room for us to experience the joy we feel to have David home.

Madonna RitchieOctober 17, 2006

It has to be said that the media has once again backlashed against Madonna in this, Angelina Jolie, Meg Ryan and Mia Farrow (who as Victoria Wood once said picks her children like someone picking letters on countdown) never faced the same kind of media circus that Madonna has. Very little has been made of the fact that Madonna has already funded the construction of an orphanage for 400 orphans that have lost their parents to HIV or that she plans to donate over $3 Million in Aid. The camera frenzy at the airport when baby david arrived was disgusting, ramming camera lenses in the face of a 13 month old baby?? Where were they when Madonna was in Malawi visiting orphanages?

Right or wrong - Madonna has certainly proved that she is a caring and generous mother who is actually putting her career on hold to do something with her fame. People need to put their judgement on hold and not believe everything they read. Lets give the girl a chance!

Now onto another queen - Did anyone see the Boy George documentary that was on last night?. I loved it and hated it in equal portions. No one can deny that the man has given us great music over the years and has been an inspiration to queens like me with his "in yer face" attitude but why oh why George do ya always have to slag off Madonna! Ya just come across as a bitter, twisted, evil queen. Sort it out girl and lose those nasty tattoo's off yer head, they is nasty on a chi chi man!!

poor tired lil pippy!

yo ho's

Hope ya all good, My weekend was pretty good. Friday night was drinks after work followed by a rehearsal with Kaz - we now have the routine down!! we just need to make sure that we have it as tight as possible before the big night! After that we met up with Pete to check out the venue which looks great but i do have a feeling it will be rammed on the night!

Saturday i had a semi lazy day, Did a bit of food shopping and some washing and then lazed round the flat for the day, catching up on stuff i had taped, sadly i found myself falling asleep all the time! Oliver arrived late afternoon to cut my hair, which now looks fabulous and is not driving me mad anymore! Watched a lil bit of X factor and necked a couple of bottles of dirt cheap wine and then headed over to Highbury to meet Pete and go to my ex boyfriend Harry's birthday drinks. Was good to catch up with Harry and have a good old gossip with my girls but we couldnt stick around all night - we needed a gay bar!! so off we popped to the Black Cap in Camden which was immensely disappointing - i just was not feeling it.

Dont know whats going on with me at the moment but going out just aint what it used to be. It has nothing to do with the people i am with, i just cant remember the last time i went out and had a really good time. Soho is becoming increasingly dull - same bars, same pretentious staff. I know for sure that the 2 parties happening next month will be great and total nights to remember but what happens after that? I need someone to introduce me to something new and exciting, to sweep me off my feet and rock my world, if anyone could sort that out for me that would be great - soon-ish!

Yesterday was a lush day, Pete and i were invited to our friends Neil and Bobby's for sunday lunch and what a lunch it was!! it's very rare that i make the effort to cook a meal so when one is placed in front of me i scoff it down! The dinner was great, Loads of veg and the hugest yorkshire pudding i have ever seen followed by a dangerously good chocolate cake! It was so nice to have a catch up and just shoot the breeze. We discussed everything from restaurants that serve a kilo of chips to a new tv show that we may develop "Queer eye for the thai bride" to Michael Jacksons sex change.

A few drinks followed in a newly refurbished bar in Kings X that has a roof terrace that is simply divine! we were the only ones out there and it was great, Love finding London's hidden treasures and as it is just round the corner from work i am sure i will be going again.

I somehow managed to completely miss 2 friends that i was supposed to see this weekend, Firstly Dan who i need a proper catch up with very soon and my lovely friend Matt from Sheffield, Like ships passing in the night. I hope to see them both very soon!!

This week will be another busy one but i hope to be back on the blog asap.

take good care

Boy George! I think he's got it!!

Hi Babes,

Friday 13th!!! I am not really superstitious but it aint a great day!! I am so living in the poor house at the moment - such a depressing state to be in but where there is a will there is always a way and i am sure i will get through the weekend one way or another.

Boy George has always been a big inspiration to me, I think he was the 1st gay man i ever saw on TV and even at such a young age something about him shook my attention round like a handbag in a catfight! Well he has been in the press this week due to a total gay pride moment. It's about time someone had the guts to shout back at the homophobic chavs on the streets and who better than Boy George. Check out this clip and remember never diss a man in make up honey - they have balls of steel!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsJjSRaUSbY

Now onto a more pressing matter, Who oh who is going to be this weeks entry into...

The Imaginary Men Of Pippy's Boudoir

Well let me tell you, Going up this week is the jaw dropping body of Philip Olivier. He may not be the fizziest drink in the fridge intelligence wise and his acting skills maynot be up there with the other Olivier but wowsa!!

i am so gay right now!!

have fun my babies!!

Trisha!!

Hi kooks,

Well it was the 1st night of training last night and it went really well, i now know some of what i shall be doing for the next 9 weeks. It's a really small but nice group and they all seem very lovely - i am sure it wont be long til we are sat round reading each others horoscopes from Heat Magazine.

This has not been a good week blog wise, I have been exceedingly busy at work and that does not lead to many fun times. Normal service shall be resumed tomorrow. I have not even had time to start thinking of which man is going to be entering my imaginary boudoir tomorrow!

The only good news i have at the moment actually sounds quite sad but to me it's quite exciting. I am a huge fan of the lezza comedienne "Ellen Degeneres" and for the past few years she has had an excellent chat show in America which has won every award going. Finally it is going to be broadcast over here on one of Fives's new channels! So now i will have a daily dose of my 2 chat divas, see pictures below

and of course not forgetting the one and only, my ultimate dinner party guest

Bless Oprah and Ellen,

kisses

Return from the land of the living dead!!

Yesterday i found myself on a work related trip to a place adjacent to hell - aka Leicester! I hate that city, as soon as i arrived i saw a homeless guy taking a leak in a flower bed and it really did not get better. Work had decided to put me in an Ibis "hotel". If you have never experienced an Ibis it really is something to behold, pastel prints on pastel walls with skanky bed sheets with a breakfast that costs way too much which comprises of a piece of bacon they found under the fridge and eggs that would have hurt someone if thrown.

I got back to the London last night and breathed a sigh of relief! Getting home and putting my feet up for a bit of Tranny and Susannah, dissecting a couples life and fixing it with a scrunched up sweater and some hair extensions - thats entertainment!!

The weekend is looming and there are just too many plans!! visiting the venue for miss pete's party and then rehearsal, 2 birthday parties on saturday night and a lunch on sunday! its going to be hectic - run forrest run!!

I am working all hours this week but am sure i shall have some energy left for partying, Got the first night of my switchboard training tonight and really dont know what to expect but hopefully i shall meet some nice people and the course wont be cursed with that one person who asks stupid questions and talks too much. Full report tomorrow!

I have nearly finished a book that i seem to have been reading for ages. I am sure most people will have heard of it as it has been really popular "We Need To Talk About Kevin" by Lionel Shriver. It takes a while to get into but it is an exceptional book that questions the unconditional love between mother and son. Highly recommend it!

Anyway time is money dears

Hi Party People,

I hope a good weekend was had by all. Mine was interesting. Friday night i went to meet Pete and we had a few drinks and a good laugh in a mixture of lovely and scutty bars, Much discussion was dedicated to the party and outfit dilemmas! I did not stay out too late and made my way back south of the river. Saturday morning came round and i had the WORST hangover ever, i could barely move or speak - i was walking round the flat like Ozzy Osbourne but more shaky! So the rest of the day was a bit of a write off.

Saturday night i got myself ready, looking pretty smart if i do say so myself. Met up with Oliver, Clare and Jane in Soho for a few glasses of wine before hitting the club. I had blagged my way onto the guest list at Rebel Rebel and even managed to get everyone i was with in for a bargain! The lovely Anthony Crank was working the door as he is one of the promoters of the night. Spotted the lovely Will Young in there too. The music was a bit random but we had a good few drinks and a bit of a dance. Thanks to Oliver for providing me with accessories for the night.

Yesterday was a lazy day of doing pretty much nothing, I watched "Robin Hood" that i had recorded the night before and all i can say is hubba hubba! Jonas Armstrong - what a man, what a man, what a mighty mighty good man!! I am in love and am going to start stalking him forthwith!!

Tis a busy week guys so will try and update as soon as possible.

Toodles

Rebel Rebel!! My face is a mess!

Hey there wannabe's!!

Hope all is fine and dandy. It's friday folks and i could not be happier. Despite the fact that the weather is not mingling well with my couture!!

I seem to have quite a fun weekend planned, God knows what tonight has in store, Am meeting up with Pete to try and find a gay bar that we have not been to yet - yeah sheilas wheels on tour!!!

Tomorrow night me and Oliver and possibly the lovely clare and jane are going to a fab gay indie night called "Rebel Rebel" which is a celeb filled night promoted by Anthony Crank from T4. I interviewed him a year or so ago for work and he is very lovely, so last time i went to his night i went up to talk to him and did a pippy classic. We were finding it hard to hear each other so i leaned in and headbutted him!! i have a feeling he will run away when he sees me tomorrow night.

Last night i got home and collapsed on the sofa and did something i have not done for time! I had a lil bit of a "Sex and the City" marathon. I was feeling really tired and it was a miserable night but the adventures of carrie and the girls lifted me to a whole new place. Sadly whenever i watch that show i want to do 2 things, firstly go out and buy a stupid amount of clothes and secondly go to a fabulous bar and down a few cosmo's with friends whilst discussing utter filth! i had to settle for a cup of tea and some toast - woe is me.

Next week is going to be pretty busy and i am actually opting for even more work. On wednesday i start my training to become a volunteer for the London Lesbian and Gay Switchboard, I am really looking forward to it, At the moment my work does not involve a huge amount of contact with the gays that are accessing services so this will put me right back on the frontline. I shall keep you all posted on my progress.

Well guys and gals it is that time of week again and i am having a dilemma this week, i am spoilt for choice on who is going to be next in.....

The Imaginary Men Of Pippy's Boudoir

Well it's a first today, I am going to have a bbc related 3 way!! Greedy greedy greedy!! First up (fnar fnar) is the new guy in Eastenders, now i dont watch Eastenders unless someone is going to die or Peggy and Pauline are going up west for a shopping trip (who the hell gets a taxi from the east end to central london? which shops on oxford street sell the Pat Butcher range? well i suppose she is actually Pat Evans now so i imagine she goes to Evans?) Anyway there is a new character in the show who i assume is a bit of a bad lad cad - check his come to bed eyes out! I tend to have go to bed eyes so it makes a nice change

The nest lucky swine who is going to be bouncing me off the walls and making me his Maid Marian is the simply divine Jonas Armstrond aka Robin Hood, he could really plough me like the dirt that i am (sorry mother!)

Have a good weekend bitches

Not sure if i am ready to jump...

Last night was the premiere of Madonna's new video "Jump", The video was made towards the end of her Confessions Tour in Japan. I always expect big things from Madonna and have to admit i was slightly disappointed with the finished product. I have to take into account that she was on an extremely gruelling tour and had a limited amount of time to film the video but i want it better. Needless to say she did look amazing and i am loving the wig!!

Time for a little rant - Why is it that when a train stops and lots of people are trying to get off, there is always some vile individual who insists that it is far more important for them to get on, shoving and tutting there way on the train. I experienced this a short while ago with some chavvy, tracksuit wearing vikki pollard lookey likey, she was all like

"Hello!!! i am trying to get on the train, Get out of my way!"

Big snaps for the fierce woman who slowly but surely pushed her back onto the platform to get off the train whilst saying

"I know you dont think i am gonna listen to you!"

U GO GIRL!!!

fierce girl pride!!!

Run for your lives, We're all going to die!!!

Hey kids,

Well last night after what seemed like the longest day at work ever, i met up with Oliver and Clare to see "An Inconvenient Truth" - Al Gore's documentary about climate change. I have to say that it scared the bejesus out of me! The adverts are right - everyone should see this movie. People are just not seeing the immediate threat. I always used to say that it would all be fine during my lifetime. How selfish?? Well it turns out that if we dont change drastically it will all change and none of it for the better, in as little as 10 years! At the end of the documentary Al Gore asks us to think about the babies being born now and the children growing up around us, I really would not blame them for turning round to the adult population and asking "What were you thinking?"

That's just it we are not thinking at all, we are blindly walking through life ignoring the inevitable. There are so many little things that we can do that would drastically change things round. Check out these 2 links

www.climatecrisis.net

and also a site that Emma has been working on encouraging people to send a letter or email to their local MP asking for their support in reducing CO2 emissions year on year by 3%

www.cooperativebank.co.uk/bigask

So dont just sit there clicking on the bbc site, reading about all the dreadful things happening in the world - do something about it!

Are you ready to jump?

Hey homie's and homo's!!

What a week!! and its only friggin wednesday!! I have been off on my travels this week, Went to Nottingham on monday night as i was doing some training there yesterday. I had been put up in the worst hotel ever!! bang opposite loads of bars full of loud, annoying students - usually i would have been out there with them, drinking like a fish and persuading all the drunk straight boys to consider a whole new way of life but i needed my sleep!

My day in Nottingham was quite fun, i had a rather lovely boy on my training course who kept me entertained throughout the day. I was quite conniving and always made sure that he had to write on the flip chart solely for the fact that when he crouched down i could see his pants! oh dear god!! someone help me, Now i am coming up with action plans for my perving - Can someone please send me a boyfriend or a life?

On a more superficial celeb news front - Madonna's new video is airing tonight on channel 4 at 11ish. her new single is called "Jump" and in my opinion is pretty much the perfect pop song. I am sure the video will be another spell of genius from our gracious leader. Full review tomorrow!!

Not a huge amount more to report, Love and kisses to the beautiful Emma who is off on maternity leave at the end of the week, I miss her dearly and cant wait to see her next month with a whole new person in her house!!!! Everyone is growing up!! except me of course, i seem to try and throw a little bit of responsibility away on a daily basis, one day someone will surely find it and ram it all back in my face, but until then i shall just keep dancing!!

kisses

East End Boys and West End Girls

Hey sugar buggers!!

Back from a weekend of fun!!! for once i am not totally mashed up at my desk, headbutting my computer, screaming "WHY????", i have finally had a weekend that has not left me comatose!

Friday night after work i went for a few beers and then sensibly went back home to get changed, eat food and shower before heading out again - Got into town at about 11.30 and went straight to a night called "The Cock" at the Ghetto in Soho to meet Ali and Clarissa etc. Had a really good night, met lots of lovely people and spotted Pete from Big Brother 7 at the bar. The night was electro and generally not my kind of music but i still managed to have a lil boogie woogie.

Saturday morning i got up feeling pretty rough but it was a nice day so i headed into town and bought my monthly supply of magazines, a new cd and a coffee the size of my head! Pete picked me up at midday in Angel so that i could help him move from the mad house to a fab drag queen filled house in Dalston. Pete had it in his head that we would turn into a hard east end boys for the day driving round in our van but in the end it was more like this

It must be said that we did work really well together and got all his stuff moved in no time. Big thanks must go to heart 106.2 fm for providing the soundtrack to the move - Mariah, Madonna and classic 80's tunes blasting from the van eased the traffic stress.

Saturday night i did a quite unspeakable thing! I stayed in!! I got some nice food and plonked myself on the sofa to watch Parkinson with the wonderful (and mad as a box of hair) Liza Minelli. She has been through it all and you can tell but the woman still has a great voice on her and many a story to tell. After having a zillion seizures she had to teach herself how to walk and talk all over again, Parky did seem to skip over the fact that she is a massive drunk, i have often had to teach myself how to walk and talk again but thats usually after a night at the joiners arms in hackney and i doubt i am the only one!

Yesterday was a really lovely relaxing day, Tony and Anna came over to my hood and we had a massive sunday luch in my local. It has been a while since i had a proper sunday dinner with all the trimmings and it was perfect!

Shortly after, Oliver joined us back at the flat for several hours of watching dvd's and videos of outtakes. You cant go wrong with laughing at people laughing!

This week is a pretty hectic one in the world of pippy so there might not be as many entries as usual but i shall try when i can.

Take care honeyz,
